  • Advance Health Solutions’ (AHS) colleagues and collaborators from the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine (ILM) at Joslin Diabetes Center, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, submitted a research abstract entitled “Physical Activity Assessment and Promotion: Physicians' Practice Patterns Suggest Gain and Opportunities for Improvement” for presentation at the Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine to be held in San Diego, CA, from May 27-30, 2015.  Co-authors from the ILM included Edward M. Phillips, M.D., Rachele M. Pojednic, Ph.D., Rani Polak, M.D., M.B.A., Mary A. Kennedy, M.S., and Frederick Arnstein, Ph.D.; from AHS included Maryam Navaie, Dr.P.H., President and CEO of Advance Health Solutions, and AHS Board Member, Daniel J. Solomon, M.D. who is a partner at Marin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine; and Amy Bantham, M.S., M.P.P. from the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association who sponsored the research.
  • Dr. Maryam Navaie, President and CEO of Advance Health Solutions, along with collaborators, Dr. Cynthia Castro from Stanford University and Dr. Carol Farran from Rush University Medical Center submitted results from a research study entitled “Increased Physical Activity Improved Mental Health among Long-Term Caregivers: Results from A Randomized Controlled Trial” for presentation at the Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine to be held in San Diego, CA, from May 27-30, 2015.
